Welcome

On behalf of the 2011-2012 Regina Newcomers Club Executive, welcome to Regina! It is our goal to make all women new to our beautiful city feel welcome.

Some Regina Newcomers Club facts:

• The club is for women who have lived in Regina for 24 months or less.
• We meet September through June - you can join at any time during those months.
• We organize weekly and monthly interest groups and activities.
• We’ve welcomed newcomers to Regina since 1964.

Newcomer Linda says... "I came to Regina a year ago July from Florida. My husband is working on the expansion project at the refinery. I prefer to have activities that are during the day since I don't work. So I joined the bowling league on Thursday mornings. The ladies on the bowling teams have been so wonderful. I have found in them friendship and lots of laughs and fun. It has made all the difference to me not sitting in my apartment being depressed and lonely. Through them I have found other activities to attend. Thank you Newcomers for all the activities that are provided for us who feel lost in a new environment."
